Custom Pool Construction in Southwest Florida

Every pool we build starts with a private conversation at the property. What you need, how you use the space, and what the site will actually allow. Everything else follows from that.

New Pool Construction

Built Around Your Home, Not a Catalogue

Most pool companies show you a brochure and ask you to pick one. We start differently. Before any design is drawn, we visit the property, understand how you live, and look at the site with your home in mind. A pool in Port Royal faces different design constraints than a pool in a Cape Coral canal-front community or a golf course estate in Estero. We plan for the specific conditions of your property from day one.

Every build we do uses shotcrete construction. It is more labour-intensive than alternatives, but nothing matches its long-term structural performance under Florida’s soil conditions and climate. We have been building pools this way across Collier and Lee County for more than fifteen years and we will not build them any other way.

What the Build Includes

  • Private consultation at the property before any design work begins
  • Computerised 3D renderings and video walkthroughs so you can see the finished pool before we break ground
  • Full engineering, surveying, and permitting managed through the correct county or city authority, whether that is Collier County, the City of Cape Coral, Lee County, or the City of Marco Island
  • Shotcrete construction with steel reinforcement to the correct specification
  • Premium surface finishes including Pebble Tec aggregate, quartz, and premium plaster
  • Travertine, natural stone, or paver decking to match the property
  • Full rough plumbing with pressure testing before anything is covered
  • Equipment selection and installation sized correctly for the pool’s actual hydraulic load
  • NPC-compliant plaster startup from the first minute water enters the pool
  • All required inspections coordinated and passed before any phase advances

Permitting Across Southwest Florida

Permitting timelines and requirements differ depending on where your property sits. Collier County typically runs four to eight weeks. Lee County and the City of Cape Coral run three to six weeks. Marco Island runs through its own city building department with timelines of four to eight weeks. We know these processes, manage every submission, and coordinate every inspection. You do not need to contact any county or city department at any stage.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions: New Pool Construction.

How long does a new pool build take?

From the initial consultation to a finished pool, most builds take five to six months. That includes permitting, which typically runs three to eight weeks depending on location, and a construction phase of twelve to sixteen weeks. We manage the full timeline.

Do you handle all the permits?

Yes. We manage every permit submission, all required drawings, and all inspections through the correct authority for your property, whether that is Collier County, Lee County, the City of Cape Coral, or the City of Marco Island.

Why do you use shotcrete instead of other methods?

Shotcrete is sprayed under pressure, which means it bonds more densely than poured concrete. Under Florida’s soil movement, hydrostatic pressure, and heat, it performs better over the long term. We have used it on every build for more than fifteen years and it is not something we debate.

What surface finishes are available?

We offer Pebble Tec aggregate, quartz, and premium plaster finishes. Each has different durability characteristics and aesthetic qualities. We bring samples to the property so you can see how each one looks in Southwest Florida sunlight before deciding.

Can you coordinate with our architect or builder?

Yes. Many of our projects in Naples, Bonita Springs, and Marco Island are part of broader residential builds or renovations. We work alongside architects, landscape designers, and general contractors and adapt our process to fit the project timeline already in place.

What happens during the NPC startup?

The NPC startup is the water chemistry process that begins the moment water enters your pool. Plaster curing has strict chemical requirements from the very first minute. We follow National Plasterers Council protocols precisely because this stage determines how your surface performs for the next decade.

Do you build on canal-front or waterfront properties?

Yes. Canal-front builds in Cape Coral and waterfront properties on Marco Island require additional setback calculations, dock clearance coordination, and in some cases marine-grade specifications. We manage all of this from the design phase.
